Halloween

I can't believe it has taken me so long to put up Halloween pics, but this week has been kinda crazy!
Halloween night was a blast for the kids! I, however, am NOT a fan! I just don't like "made up" holidays. Maybe I'm just a cynic. But Halloween and Valentines' Day are both a total waste of time and money!
Since Halloween fell on a Friday night, Justin went Trick or Treating with us too. Both of his parents had to work at the football field. He and Cam were both dressed like "Clone Troopers" from Star Wars. Carlie was Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. I tried to get Cam to be another character from that movie, but NO WAY. He's way too old to be all matchy with his sister!


We trick or treated around our neighborhood for a little while. The boys had a fun running around from house to house. Her Royal Highness, Miss Carlie, wasn't quite as interested in....well....walking!

Britt pulled her around the neighborhood while she stayed covered in a blanket! She did get out of the wagon about every third house! I think she is going to be like me...No, not the "thinks she's a princess" part! (ha ha). I mean she just wasn't really interested in Halloween.
Cam thought it was great. He and Justin even knocked on a few doors and then hid when the people came out!! Of course, we knew the people! They boys had as much fun handing out candy as they did trick or treating! They were knocking each other down to get to the front door when the doorbell would ring! I think Halloween is ridiculous, but I acknowledge it just because my kids are so cute in their costumes!!
