Year after year....

regardless of how busy we all are, my closest friends from high school and I get together. Sometimes it's a big deal...with husbands and children...sometimes it's a quick lunch or dinner. But we always make a point to see each other during the holidays. All together there are nine of us. But Amy is a microbiologist (or something like that) and she and her husband have recently moved to the Bahamas...tough life. :-) And AJ still lives in Virginia. The other seven do a pretty good job of making it happen. Last night there were only five of us. Brooke is a nurse and couldn't get off work. Laura, a teacher, just had too much going on this year.

So last night Lindsey, Emily, Paige, April and I met at El Tapatio in Rainbow City for dinner.... Paige, April, Me, Lindsey, Emily

It was so good to see everyone again. All five of us are married with atleast one child. So we NEVER get to see each other! I love catching up with what is going on in everyones life. And see pictures and hear stories of our children and what they are doing. And of course we reminisce about school and stupid things we did! It gets funnier every year! You have to understand...these are the people who know waaaay more about you than anyone else!They all tease me about my memory. I tend to remember EVERYTHING. Lots of which they wish I'd forget! Heck, lots of which I wish I'd forget!!!
