Carlie's Locks of Love

The other day Carlie decided she wanted to cut her hair off. We talked about it for a couple days. Then we agreed it was ok. She wanted ALOT cut. So we decided to donate it to "Locks of Love". She had 10"....which is the required length. Today was the big day...
I was cringing as Jennifer cut the first section. I love her beautiful long hair. But it's for a good cause, so I can deal with it! Carlie loved every minute of it! She grinned the whole time Jennifer cut!It is really cute. I was hoping it would make her look younger. Like when she was 3...and cut it herself!!! Maybe a little. But, on the bright side...atleast she asked for the haircut this time!
Here is the finished product! Can you tell she loves it??? I think it is precious. But I love it long too. After all it's just hair! It grows back!! And look at that hair she is holding! It's wet and a little wavy, but it is a handful!! Hopefully it will be a blessing to someone else.
Once we got home she ran to the bathroom to look in the mirror. She starting jumping up and down singing "I look like Junie B.!!" Lovely. What a role model!!

Carlie, girl...I love your hair! And I love even more that you are sweet enough to want to share yours with someone who needs it. What a thoughtful, kind thing to do!

Love,
Jenifer
