And Puppy Makes Five....

Well, it has been a little over two weeks since we expanded our family of four. Bentley has been here for 16 days and he is fitting right in!

I was worried that we would have another bad pet experience. Mainly because I am NOT a pet person. We've had fish, hamsters, a dog, a turtle, and a guinea pig. All have gone on to a better place, or to live with a better suited family! The only difference was, this time, I'm the one who wanted a pet! I guess this was my way of satisfying that baby fever I've had for a long time! (like 6 years!!)
Bentley is very much my baby! Today Cam even commented that "Bentley never bites you, Mama." He doesn't bite them to be mean, but he's teething, and chews on their hands, or toes, or whatever else he can reach!

It's so funny to watch him walk. He prances!

I got my big camera back yesterday, so I finally took some pictures of Bentley on something besides my BlackBerry!!

Bentley didn't know what to think about that big camera! He had to check it out! He stuck his nose & his paw to the lens!

Cam loves Bentley. He has been so responsible with the puppy too!

Carlie thinks she is Bentley's mama! She carries him around like a baby. And talks to him like he's her child! The last two mornings, Carlie was the first one up to get a whining Bentley out of his bed and outside! When I got up she was standing in the front yard with him, saying "Go potty, baby." It's precious!

Needless to say we all love him like crazy! I've always teased my mother in law because she's so crazy about her dog "Casey". But I'm starting to see that it's easy to be like that! I may be turning into a "crazy dog lady" myself.....not to be confused with the "crazy cat lady", of course!
